Artifact Clusters

February 18, 2016

Artifact ClustersArtifact clusters are another kind of feature. They are often piles of pottery, stone, bone, or other material that was dumped and has stayed as a single pile of debris. For example, they might represent a single flintknapping event, a pot that broke and was discarded, or a pile of bones from dinner.
